If you are contemplating a trip to
Seattle to take in the Cities sites, attractions and nightlife then you should
think about purchasing a City Pass. City Passes are a great way to really visit
a City at more than half the price everyone else will pay. With a City Pass you
will get to see the most popular attractions, rides, and fun spots throughout
the city at a fraction of the cost. You will also get to ride the public
transportation system for free! So now you can save big while enjoying the city
and living large.
Museum of Flight
At the Museum of flight you will
really enjoy yourself as the history of flight comes to life right before your
eyes. This museum has a wonderful array of fun activities to offer for every
age. You can do things like touring the original Air Force One jet or sit
yourself behind a modern day jet flight simulator. You will find yourself
entrenched and amazed as you explore the history of both personal and military
flight. It is so much fun that the admission price is well worth it but
remember with the city pass you are getting a great deal and paying only a
fraction of what everyone else. Even at the full price this is still a
recommended attraction.
Try Out the Seattle Harbor Tour
This is a must stop on your tour of
Seattle. This is an hour long tour of the Seattle bay. It is one of the more
elaborate and exciting tours that should be on your itinerary. This cruise is
offered by Argosy Cruises and it will point out all of the major features of
Seattle Bay and it is great fun. If you want you can upgrade your tickets and
still get a great discount on any of the other packages or cruises that Argosy
Cruises offers. However, it is recommended if you have never been out to sea
that you try a shorter trip the first time out.
Woodland Park Zoo
The Woodland Park Zoo is known for
its natural looking and enjoyable exhibits. In fact the zoo has won many
prestigious awards for its exhibits. There is so much to do and see here at the
zoo that this can easily be a whole day adventure for any family. In fact that
is what I would recommended is that you take a whole day and while you are
there why not take a stroll next door to the beautiful Rose Garden. This is a
free side trip as it doesn't cost anything to view the roses but it is a
wonderful experience and it goes well with the Woodland Park Zoo.
Try out the Pacific Science Center
for more great fun!
The Pacific Science Center has
everything that you heart could desire for a Science Center. This includes fun
things like video games and laser tag along with wonderful exhibits. There are
so many things to do here also like many of the other attractions. They have
many permanent exhibits like the saltwater tide pool where the little ones can
stick their hands in and touch and feel sea creatures. They also have a
wonderful Dinosaur exhibit that would make any boy excited even us big one.
There is also a wonderful tropical butterfly house and an extensive insect
village that you should stop and see.
Seattle Aquarium
Look into life under the sea and the
many salt water and fresh water creatures that can be found in and around the
Puget Sound. This will be a highlight for everyone in your group I can almost
guarantee.
If any of these or most of these is
appealing to you and/or those you are traveling with, then purchasing a city
pass is probably a wise investment. Even if you don't visit all of the
attractions, you can save money by visiting a few.
